The world tech space has been talking of 5G a lot since last year and just right in the second half of 2018, Qualcomm has promised to install 5G network to smartphones. If smartphones start using 5G network, then, you know, super fast speed is now possible, even though 4G is already fast enough.

Qualcomm has created a mmWave antennas which integrates the specifications for 5G network. The mmWave antennas are QTM052 module family and QPM56xx sub-6 GHz RF module. The chipset marker also claimed that it is the first to a fully powered 5G network at 5 Gbps. This new antennas will be integrated into its upcoming chipset which will probably be launched before the this year. The forthcoming chipset will replaced the latest flagship chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.

Installing 5G on mobile phones is a great deal. Telecommunication company will need to gear up their game to meet this current need. However, in undeveloped countries, like Nigeria, having a 5G network on smartphones is a big deal as most of the wireless carriers are yet to integrate 4G network. However, one of the middle-level smartphones launched this year has already incorporated this 4G network on it as well as other smartphones.
